Question PJ64 2.x Speed Issues

On numerous (almost every) game I tested on 2.1 ran a lot quicker than what a regular N64 would look like. Also, F1 Pole Position 64 doesn't work anymore (it did in 1.6).

While they're at it, they should call it BN64 because Byuu is bound to do something crazy like that while requiring a hexa-core CPU clocked at 4.5 GHz
