Project 64 2.2.0.3. recognize my Papre mario as Conker's Bad Fur Day

I copied the Paper Mario rom I used to play in my brother's PC in mine, i copied the saves properly and all was OK, but project 64 keeps replacing my Conker's save states with paper mario saves and name the p. mario rom "conker's Bad Fur Day", I still don't know what to do and I already lost one of my Conker's saves, please reply

Haven't any idea how that can happen.

Try closing Project64, go to Project64/Config and delete Project64.cfg.

This will reset everything back to default and make Project64 go through the process of asking for language again. Select your ROM directory. Setup your controls etc.

Unless the rom you copied was renamed from Conker's Bad Fur Day to Paper Mario. So the file is not Paper Mario at all, and your brother has tricked you!

You can check the size of the ROM. Paper Mario ROM is 40Mb, Conker ROM is 64Mb.

I had the exact same problem once. I have no idea how this could happen.
