That sounds like you're using Azimer's Audio, build by my MinGW script.

Can it even be fixed with installing a compiler? I don't even remember how I got it to work, unless Jabo's audio plugin has gotten updates and doesn't make Konami games crackle/microstutter (or reducing the VI/s in games like Ridge Racer and Clay Fighter with audio sync)?

Ridge Racer is fine using Jabo without changing any settings here. |

Also, I'd rather use Azimer's plugin as MusyX games actually work.

![]() I'm currently using the latest GlideN64 revision which I think is a great plugin, but I'll give Jabo's 1.6.1 a try. Thanks! |

If you can run GLideN64 full speed, I recommend using that instead. I cannot, it's far too slow for me. If you need performance, use Jabo's 1.6.1.

But turning off frame limit makes framerates really choppy,at least on my end with a certain older PJ64 version for all my code hunting needs.

Checking Sync using audio in Project64, OR, turning on sync to audio in Jabo and disabling frame limiter, fixes the crackling in Resident Evil 2 for 2.3.

1.6 was the newest version at the time so he named it as an improvement to that. 1.7 was never "released". Seemed he was happier with the 1.6 days before he saw donations and people spamming the forums (he said it wasn't so much attributed to me though RadeonUser saw me differently I guess...) so named it as an improvement to 1.6[.1] which was the latest version.

By the way, I was going to ask you guys if you think I should run GlideN64 on HLE or LLE, but I don't know if you think this question is too off-topic, so maybe I should make another thread instead haha ![]() |
