Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask Black Cutscene Issue

I'm having a strange problem where whenever the game would do a cutscene, the screen blacks out. I can still hear audio and the game progresses. When the cutscene is over, the video resumes as normal. It will happen, for example, when putting on or removing one of the main masks.

I have a youtube video but apparently I can't post it within my first 5 posts.. so..

You'll have to take my word for it.

It is very annoying. I have a texture pack applied, but it does it without the texture pack too. I changed the video plugins I was using, changed from opengl to directx (just to try to narrow down the problem), but it seems to do this with every setting.

Any ideas?

Edit: Fixed. Was a ROM issue. Got a new one.
