Unhappy Analog Stick Issue With Logitech USB Controller

Hi guys, I have a feeling this is a very simple issue to solve or I'm doing something incredibly stupid, but if someone help me regardless that would be great.

I have a Logitech Rumblepad 2.0 which has been recognized and used by PJ64. The problem is that when I set the analog stick in the control config, it still only recognizes it as four buttons, even though I have a REAL stick. In other words, Mario still only walks eight directions, at one speed. Exactly what I was trying to avoid when I bought the controller XD

I think that I actually had the stick working fine a while ago, so I doubt the issue is the controller I'm using. I went to change a few buttons or something one day and now I can't the stick working properly again.

Is there an easy fix for this? A complicated one? Anything? Thanks in advance.
