You said there were graphics glitches when using RSP 1.7.0.9 official Project64 plugin? Do you know if you were using the RSP interpreter or re-compiler setting for that plugin? (If you don't know then it was probably the re-compiler.)
on the drop down settings under config: world driver i have it set to interpreter on the "CPU core style:" (i set it as that and left it as that and its a game specific setting.)

the glitches included weird reflections of cars, brake light img had a black box round it, and small breaks in the ground of the surrounding scenery and road, nothing serious, using the r6 interpreter has fixed all but the weird breaks in the ground.

Yeah, the interpreter/recompiler setting for "CPU core style:" is separate than the one for the RSP emulator stored elsewhere, but don't worry about that. That doesn't matter while using this plugin anyway.

The weird breaks in the ground are not a RSP bug but an infamous glitch with ziggy's OpenGL. Try a different graphics plugin, like:
http://forum.pj64-emu.com/showthread.php?t=4422

Edit: But it's only fair to warn you that that is slower. It helps if you check "Configure Graphics Plugin" while the game is running in that plugin to disable filters for extra speed.

I don't think Gauntlet Legends is even fully playable on any graphics plugins, either LLE or HLE, other than the one that I just linked to. The glitches you described have been around for a very long time and currently only seem to be fixed in the pixel-accurate plugin I linked to.

yeah, just tested your LLE, works great, just a tad to slow, getting 15 VI/s atm, i will still experiment, maybe i can find a plugin that i will make a few graphical sacrifices for (:

You clicked "Configure Graphics Plugin" while the game was running in that plugin I linked to right? It should disable the extra VI filters to give you some more speed.

Probably due to the RDP being hammered by drawing calls.

In that case, optimizing the edgewalker would obviously help.

How do I download this? I don't see anything on those Filesend files. Is this plugin dead?

That's not good!

Looks like filesend.net got taken over.

Thank you for pointing this out. I guess I need to re-upload the files using some other service sometime.

Anyway, I was planning on doing another RSP rewrite using the unofficial #1.2 specs, since Project64's unfortunately the only emulator that lets an RSP plugin emulate the RSP completely anyway (with some cycle-accurate timing bypass).
