What I'm primed to see is the future possibility of downloading this emulator to a USB and some ROMs to plug into any console and play it, like play Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time on your xbox360, then take the USB with you and play Your Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time on your friends playstation.

Well I've got a Gameboy Advanced emulator on my iPod touch that's not even jail broken and I can play Legend of Zelda Minish Cap where ever I want so I had the idea of why not adapt the emulator to work with every video game playing device and I thought what could be more portable and easy than a USB? Besides one of these days someone is bound to tear down the walls between consoles and actually play different games for different systems instead of all that fake stuff on the internet. Heck when I first heard about emulators I was like no way and the internet was like yes way and that's how I came across this place

Well the problem with your idea is that software written for 1 hardware, is not going to work on another. You realize that this emulator is not only restricted to intel hardware, but also windows OS? Technically Ps4 and Xb0xOne are both intel architecture, but still, you'd have to change quite a bit of code.

You can't just "tear down the walls", because hardware is vastly different from each other. Portability requires a lot of time.

Well for starters apple is really picky about the apps it allows on it's mobile devices and lots of other restrictions. So someone had the idea to remove these restrictions or "jailbreak" as it's referred to, so that people can have more access to more apps and customizations, as we'll as being able to download the apps that cost money for free. The leading jail breakers are Redsn0w, and p0xispwn.

What about emulators; are they restricted?

Cause if an executable for mobile device is banned from being downloaded to it or whatever, but a NES emulator isn't, all you'd have to do is make a NES rom that had porno in it.

Nothing blocks porn but "overprotective" parents lol. But for example, apple does not allow dynamic recompilation of code (like dynarecs), which are vital to achieving full speed on low-power devices, such as iPhones and iPads. This means that any emulation cores that rely on dynarecs will have considerably higher system requirements on non-Jailbroken devices and are unlikely to run fullspeed. These cores current include PCSX-ReARMed, Mupen64Plus, picodrive and DeSmuME and may include more in the future. So if Project 64 were to be programmed for mobile devices of the apple variety I would not be able to play it unless jail broken.
