I'm trying to figure out how to transfer my Legend of Zelda OOT saved game to a mobile device. I've tried several mobile emulators and I couldn't get them to work. Is there PJ64 for mobile yet? Will that happen?
As far as I can tell it's not as simple as transferring the ROM to the mobile device. I even tried transferring what I believe was the save file but it may be because the two different emulators don't create the save file in the same way. Any thoughts on this? Solutions? |

Save game files (the ones ending in *.eep, *.mpk, *.sra, *.fla), should, given you put them into the correct directory work on any emulator. PJ64 savestates (ending in *.pj) might work on a recent enough version of Mupen64plus AE, I don't know if they do on what is currently in the app store.
Using mupen64plus AE you should put the Save Game files into the mupen64plus/SlotSaves directory. Naming is also important, on mupen64plus they have to be called the same as the filename of your ROM, while PJ64 uses the internal ROM name. Last edited by V1del; 17th April 2016 at 06:02 PM. |
