Cool a suggestion

i was playing zelda majora'as mask and i think… can we play games like this with softened poligonal shapes?

i understand, the original n64 games are poligonal, but pj64 members can do magic … maybe?

There was a thread over on emutalk (over a decade ago) where people were showing off ATI Truform with n64 emulation, with some interesting results. Unfortunately all of the images have evaporated, but you can still read the thread here: http://www.emutalk.net/threads/27112...cement-TruForm

Truform was an early tessellation solution that was used in bunches of games with limited success. I think support was discontinued years ago, but here's some examples I found:
