Default Game-specific graphics settings not saving

Hello,

I've been playing Majora's Mask with the widescreen hack on (Options > Configure Graphics Plugin > Rom Settings > Override aspect [ticked]), but it will not seem to save this option. This means that each time I start the emulator and load Majora's Mask, I have to go into these settings and tick this box in order to enable widescreen.

Is there a way I can force this option on by default?

Thanks!
-Alex

No way to do that I think, although in the beta some more configuration is stored.

I'm having the same problem as the OP. I'm playing Ocarina of Time, and when I check "Override Aspect" it doesn't save when I exit the program. If I check "Use Direct3D Transform", however, that does save.

I'm using Project64 2.1.0.1 and Jabo's Direct3D8 1.7.0.57-ver5.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but the forum won't allow me to create a new one.

Sorry to be a pest, but can someone at least confirm whether this is a known issue or if it's me that's doing something wrong?

Exclamation I also ran into this problem

Has this issue been fixed yet? Coincidentally, I was also playing Majora's Mask when I ran into this problem.

EDIT: I use CheatEngine to force the value to stay on, but if there's an official fix that would be nice!

I cannot save the changes on settings neither in PJ 2.0
Odd thing is, I was able to do so a week ago.

Okay Heres what you need to do to fix this problem: go to Options>Settings>Options> Uncheck "Hide Advanced Settings" just incase
Then go to Options>Settings>Check Always Overwrite Default Settings With Ones From Ini?"
Check that and you should be good to Go

Same issue in PJ 2.2. This setting was saved in PJ 1.6 but this is no longer the case.
It's frustrating to see such a regression and to know that it's likely very easy to fix...
