Default Emulator Not Detecting Controller.

Everything on my computer detects my controller just fine, but on any Nintendo 64 emulator, it won't detect my controller when I go to configure it. I click the button I want to assign, and nothing happens.

I've tried downloading plugins, nothing works. I've tried almost every emulator out there, none seem to work, yet my controller works perfectly with steam, and other programs.

I'm using an Xbox One wired controller, and am using windows 10.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Plugins for input need to be fixed for the "plugged in" status which doesn't work in real-time like it used to.
I have at least seen this on NRage recently and its frustrating to deal with because you have to reload the game before it can recognize that the N64 controller is plugged in.
The same problem could occur with disabling any given controller slot where it won't update.

Problem is that I haven't tested this yet with a game like Super Smash Bros. that is known for real-time controller socket plugged detection.

I don't know anything about the Xinput part though, sorry.
