Unhappy problem with n64 controler

so after useing pj64 for a couple of days i decided to get an n64 controler with USB. so i plugged it in, and went into controller settings, and....

the only setting were for an xbox controller. l fiddled around with some stuff to no luck. if any of you have this problem (and a solution to it) i would be greatful as i dont want to think i just shelled out 15$ on a piece of plastic

USB clone controllers are generally not of good quality, post your controller settings.

I always just found regular PC controllers with dual analogues to suffice.
