Default Project64 v. 2.1 Conker's bad fur day problem

Hi, I am new here so I dunno how it works, but I think there's nothing wrong if I ask this so:

In Conker's Bad Fur Day the game always crashes exactly after the scene where Franky the pitchfork talks bout kickin asses (the scene right before he starts to hunt you), in the chapter "Barn Boys".
I'd like to know if others are experiencing this same problem and if there's a way to fix it anyway.

P.S. The error message says "Unhandled R400i OpCode at: 150AE1D8 dsrlv v0, t2, t3 Stopping Emulation !" and then another appears saying "Fatal Error: Stopping emulation" and a third "Unknown memory action Emulation now stoped" maybe it's not completely accurate cause I couldn't copypaste it. Btw the emulator doesn't close, just the game isn't running anymore.

A search for conker crash or similar would've given you some hits, one of the threads is this one

http://forum.pj64-emu.com/showthread...ghlight=conker

Try to follow the solutions posted there (Uncheck "Register Caching" and/or Protect Memory)

Default yep it worked

I followed the steps, I unchecked "hide advanced settings", unchecked "register caching", and checked "protect memory" to get past that same error at the barn. It made everything go slower though, the talking sounded burbly, the music sounded like someone was stopping and starting it every second. But I got past the error, and after completing the pitch fork and hay mission, before talking to the king be I ended the ROM and undid the steps to go back to good game performance. I guess I'll use these steps in the future for similar errors.
