Hello to all!
I would like to say that I am new here and don't have that much experience with emulators but I have been doing, or at least trying to do, a lot of research into this area. I installed Project 64 onto my laptop and I am extremely impressed as I can finally relive my childhood memories without the hassle of having to purchase an N64 (although it would still be nice if I could get one). My favorite game so far has been San Fransisco Rush 2049. The graphics and sound are amazing and so is the gameplay. What I would like to ask is how exactly I am supposed to use the native saving/ memory paks?? I've been looking around for more information on how native saving is supposed to work and I haven't been able to find anything that has given me what I need to know. Specifically, I would like to know how it works in terms of San Fransisco Rush 2049. So far, the only way I have been able to save and load has been to use F5 and CTRL + L which, from what I recall, is simply a save-state. I want to use the automatic ability of the memory paks as I always forget to save using F5. In fact, I have twice deleted my game progress simply by accidentally overwriting my save states with blank ones!!! CAN ANYONE HELP ME?? I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS. Also, you can use several save states. This is nice because then you can have, like, twenty games on OoT at the same time ![]() San Fransisco Rush 2049 is an awesome game yo ![]()

If there is "native saving" then usually Project64 is optimized so that that data is written involuntarily by default, though the memory pak storage device will need to be enabled from the controller plugin specs to support that data.
