Default Has Work on 1.7 started up again.

i saw that zilmar posted on the forum in december. and then i read on wikipedia(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project64):
Quote:
Future development

Minor Work has been restarted on 1.7 as of December 2009, fixing some of the more common crash problems. It is also expected to feature a memory editor, similar to the one found in Nemu64, which can be used to create your own cheat codes for games.[3] Also, some previously unplayable games will be supported, such as Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, due to advancements in emulation compatibility and accuracy (such as the ability of low-level video emulation).[4] Plus, texture dumping and loading. [5][6]
then i also read the section titled "reception", which sounds like an impatient 12 year old wrote it, i even checked the sources and couldn't find anything saying that(obviously), so that's why im not sure if i should believe it, just wondering if anyone else has more information, than whats already out there.

thanks,
spiros.

who the f*** added the memory editor stuff and rogue squadron stuff.

...i wish idiots would stop modifying the wiki.

For future reference, to idiots who modify wiki's

Anything regarding game compatibility is entirely speculation and does not belong on the wiki.
Anything regarding "Expected" additions, is speculation, furthermore, nothing is Expected.

Stop adding your own delusions to the wiki. Kthnx.

"Project64 may be coming back to life "
--Zophar's Domain News update

It's just a bunch of oxen gluing their eyes to their screens.
Though true as that may or may not be, up to your perspective. If we're so interested in the status of the project, it's best we keep up-to-date on the primary source ourselves.
