Bomberman Hero - Flickering Screen

While using the Project64 Video Plugin: 2.2.0, the game screen is flickering. This doesn't happen in the title screen or the main menu. Can i fix this in the video settings or do i need to use a different plugin

I fixed it by using the "old" Buffer swapping method in the graphic plugins settings. I have only one problem left. The shadow under Bomberman and under collectible items is not showing properly. Is there a setting to fix this shadows?

For some reason I get bouts of screen flickering at times while playing this game, especially after loading an instance . I have an nvidia video card with the latest drivers and direct-x. This is a Windows7 64 machine. Is there a known fix for this?
