Default Recovering Save File

I've been playing Zelda-OOT for the past few days and my computer accidentally deleted the project64 application but the rest of the files are still there (read me's, docs, save file). When I play OOT, there is no save file that is available yet on the emulator's files, I have one save file (SRA file). Does this mean that I can access my old save file from that and if so, how can I do that?

Zelda uses SRAM on the save chip, so the file extension in this case should be: SRA. So maybe you just need to rename that file there to the file name Project64 is looking for under the \SAVE\ sub-directory to get it to load.

Are you saying I should change the file extension name to .z64?

SRA is the extension. If you see a "SRA" file then that probably just needs to be renamed to the file name Project64 is looking for.
