Default Gonetz just launched an Indiegogo campaign to finish GLideN64

Long story short for those who haven't heard it already, GLideN64 is the successor to Glide64 with more accurate HLE emulation. You can see on the Indiegogo page some photos he posted which shows working framebuffer effects in Mario Tennis, Beetle Adventure Racing!, Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, Extreme-G, and Banjo Tooie.

He also has stretch goals for completing the Android port, porting to OS X, widescreen hack support, advanced AA, rendering in native res, and other stuff.

I'm not allowed to post URLs yet, so: indiegodo [dot] com/projects/gliden64-graphics-plugin

youtube [dot] com/channel/UCDW57wf3i2Gq-5wqiucSgjg For videos.

Why not a SUPER plugin of Rice,Glide64,and GlN64 combined!

You could call it Rice'NGlide64!
Codename:Chicken'NRice

What Android really needs for N64 emulation is proper Dynarec and R4300/core emulation to actually get fast performance with a lot less glitches like DK64 not having any collisions and Banjo-Tooie randomly quitting back to the menu.

The default/only Dynarec for Mupen64Plus AE sucks!

Somebody's gotta fix all of that!
...please?

I really hope he goes through with this, as it wouldn't hurt to have a brand spankin' new graphics plugin, to pretty much pick up where Glide64 left off, as it's my plugin of choice

What Android really needs is for autists to shut up and stop bumping pokefan/Shunyuan's illegal software threads.

You can keep talking about Mupen64Plus Android in every post on this forum from now on, and still nobody's going to give a shit about your ass. Start paying money to pokefan for features nobody gives a fuck about, on a pj64-related forum where nobody gives a fuck about what you want in non-pj64 emulators.

I find it interesting that people seem more willing to donate money instead of time.

I wish someone would finally HLE some of these rare microcodes . It's kinda unfortunate that Lemmy's DX9 (which is open source) seems to have a less complete implementation for Rogue Squadron than Lemmy's DX8 (which I can't find source to).

The amount of time it would take for me to do what he's doing by learning all the odds and ends would be massive compared to just handing a few dollars over and calling it a day.

Damn, kitty, you got claws. I personally favor Mupen64Plus over project64 atm because of stability, but I can see why constantly bringing it up on here would be annoying.
