What's a GCN controller?

edit: lolwut? http://www.8-bitcentral.com/images/n...ollerFront.jpg
Looks like a disproportionate child's toy. Well I've never played GameCube before so idk.

vote option doesn't change tho, number 3 ftw

Gamecube controller (GCN) all the way! ...
I have actually used a Gamecube controller with PJ64,and it was so freaking awesome to use.

I'd love to see a local Smash 4 gcn controller and usb so I can finally get back what I lost (from that MOTHERFUCKER) years ago.

None of them, but yeah If you only have those two I guess I will go for the N64 one and his horrendous analog controller that last only one day of tail swinging Bowser (So long King Bowser) or a session of Mario Party and the mini game where you have to row in a boat...

Also, there weren't any fighter's game on the GCN library? because I find impossible to do any decent combo in that controller...

Snes controller ftw. Sony's Dualshock controllers would be the best since they copied the design of the Snes controller and improved it from there...

I can use a GC controller on PC, so why have I never used it in pj64?

My controllers survived MP1. My palm OTOH.
As for GCN fighters there's Soul Caliber.

Mine didn't, Mario Party killed one...Another one in Super Mario 64 and the final Bowser battle because I kept failing at it everytime back then, so when I finally killed him my controller was gone too..

In the 3 years I played the N64 I bought at least 8, yes eight controllers and back then in my country they were damn expensive...

Then I switched to the PlayStation since the only games I found myself playing on the N64 were Mario 64, Mario Kart and OoT. Also there was the lack off the big RPGs on the N64, what a change! games were cheap, controllers too and never had a problem with them, they were comfy and responsive...

As for the GC I only played Resident Evil 4 to death before I quit console gaming for good but didn't like the layout of the buttons in the controller, maybe it just me and my muscle memory from the SNES era that made me feel that way...

I never "got gud" with it either. I sucked at Melee and Brawl, but I'm pretty good (for a casual) at Sm4sh using the Pro or even the classic (I've should've used that instead of GCN for Brawl but I hate dealing with batteries).
