I guess my point about no one caring, has been proven . I think the best solution for me is to just quit .

Not only do I highly doubt he'll get 2k a month, but the amount of work he gets done isn't even worth 2k a month imo. This kind of work is very unrewarding. The amount of time required for significant accomplishments is just too much.

I doubt fixing those 2 games would attract that much attention. Angrylion's plugin already works good for those 2 games. If I were to upgrade hardware as suggested by others, I'd likely be able to run those 2 games at full speed .

GlideN64 probably will die if he doesn't get that $$$. As much as people like to rag on him, he still accomplishes more than most.

If he fixes Snap, he'll very likely fix Mario Studio games as a side-effect. Also, Angrylion's is far too slow for most people. I think a better showcase might be Vigilante 8. Uselessly slow on Angrylion's even on extremely high-end hardware. Uses complex framebuffer effects for menus.

Heck, even fixing Mario Tennis' remaining FB issues would be good PR. (Basically, the game crashes if framebuffer to fullscreen texture is enabled.)

You're certainly right that Vigilante 8 is a better showcase. Tried on my HW, got like 30's with GlideN64 Public Release 1.1 HLE with frame buffer disabled, ~16 Vi/s with it on. Got 10 VI/s with Angrylion's and 2 VI/s with z64gl rofl. Glad idc too much for that game .

I didn't know you had a bridge in your home, how very fortunate of you.

Gonetz recently fixed the explosions in Vigilante 8. Menus are still broken, and the game runs bizarrely slowly with various FB settings enabled.
