Got to admit though, when it comes to error messages reporting trying to read a wholly uncompressed ROM as a ZIP archive, it's tempting to ask even seemingly unrelated questions.

I mean, assuming I want to help / figure out what the issue is myself and all.

Uh...forgive me for asking but where from/how did you install Project64 legit


Additionally, I would advise screen-capturing the Open ROM window if that's the way you're trying to target an exact file as a ROM to load, preferably in Details view.
