depends on your resolution choice... i make custom resolutions in ati's control panel and use them... no borders that way

Why are the black borders a problem? N64 games are supposed to have black boarders. The fact GLideN64 emulates this behavior correctly is one reason it's a superior plugin to Glide64. You can always crop them out in post if you're recording video or something like that.
