![]() But I still got sound pops when frame rate was low no matter PJ64 1.7 or PJ64 2.1. Tested with nGlide + Glide64 final + HleAudio 1.8.2 on My computer.

Yes with these settings the sound doesn't pop in the menu (where the game sustains 60VI/s) but during gameplay it runs at 45/50 VI/s instead of 60 so it's very slow and the sound obviously isn't smooth with lots of popping and skipping (like any game that doesn't run full speed).
The game needs "fixed audio timing" in order to run fast but only in version 1.7 you can do that without sound popping. Anyway, thanks for helping. |

I keep sync using audio checked.
I run a 2007 Intel Pentium Duo 2.8Ghz, with onboard Radeon Xpress 200 Series (W2243). It runs at 60VI/S constant here. Same settings as above except sync using audio. Using Jabo's graphics included with 2.1. |

Hi man, I have a X-Fi Titanium PCIe on Windows 7, your plugin have the option "DSound HW Aceleration", so I using Creative Alchemy for this feature, that is better?? or Xaudio2 is the best option?? wich is the latency of DSound & XAudio in your plugin?

(2) the latency is about 2 frames or (2 * 1000/60) ms. (3) both XAudio2 and DirectSound use software mixer on Window 7, but only XAudio2 support upmix.

Add Zilmar to the thank list of this thread, indeed without project64 emulator and the plugin system design, there won't be this audio plugin.

Eh, that wasn't exactly my point, but, whatever. Close enough I guess.
Technically his only request regarding crediting him, was the use of the actual code from his basic demonstration plugins, which obviously was something you read when writing, not just the plugin spec headers themselves. But, what the hell. It's what I do: Credit him for the public domain plugin spec, even if none of his demonstration plugin code survives in mine after a point. The guy's already done so dang much to influence constructive competition that I didn't really think of the exact reasons as important.

I have been using the last few weeks your plugin and I must give you a BIG thank you, for me its the best audio plugin I tried so far, the FPS its smooth and at constant 60FPS, Konami games works well, obviously there is some audio speed up at times to catch with the FPS but not noticeable enough to become annoying. Strangely XAudio2 works better for me than DirectSound in Windows XP, If I change to DirectSound I get FPS micro stuttering.
My only problem, and its a big one, is that whenever I try to close the emulator or press F12 to end the emulation, the plugin causes a crash. Tested on a: Q9660 Intel Core 2 Quad, Asus 9600GT Nvidia, 2 GB of RAM and Windows XP SP3 32Bits running Project64 1.6.1 with your HLE audio plugin v1.8.2u1 ...
