Default Project 64 for Homebrew

Project 64 is the best N64 Emulator, flat-out, so it only makes sense for it to be ported over to homebrew. Wii64, and Not64 are both dead, and neither support USB controllers (specifically the Wii U GameCube adapter). Is porting Project 64 to homebrew something that you guys would want?

Project 64 is a very decent emulator, but it is very much tied to Windows, making porting it to other devices something of a nightmare/impossibility.

mupen64plus is the current leader when it comes to porting, but I dunno whether devices such as the Wii have the chops to run it.

Other N64 emus that should be possible to port are 1964 and Daedalus since they both have been ported to javascript somehow and Daedalus on PSP.

I wished those two would get Android ports so there could be more than one to work with besides Mupen64Plus.

So, it'd be best to just look into adding USB support to the existing N64 emulation for the Wii.
Thanks for the input.

Wii64 is based on Mupen64Plus.

Wii64 is based on original mupen and doesn't contain many of the improvements in m64p.

That said to add some more points to what has been said, is there any vwii driver for the Gamecube Adapter yet? I don't know of any so I have some doubts that this would even work in any acceptable way without some huge additional effort.

For Nintendont on vWii, but that's it so far. Wii64 is dead, but Not64 was recently updated and is far better.

The Not64 version mostly fixes the Banjo-Tooie texture mapping issue so you can now enter cheats without it going all white randomly.

I miss my Wii.

Has anyone used retroarch aka retrolib to emulate the n64 on the wii? Apparently there's a wii port and retroarch does have an n64 core.

WiiMednafen has rewind support and snes9xgx has fast forward support. Now I just need an SNES and/or NES emulator for the Wii that does both
