Default How to transfer save files to Project 64 emulator?

Ive been playing Majora's Mask 64 on "MegaN64" emulator on my phone and saved quite a bit. I recently downloaded "Project 64" on my laptop and wanted to transfer the save files to that emulator. I have the save files on my laptop but cant load them, any help?

I think you need to have a save already made in pj64, then copy the save you want over it in the pj64 > saves folder.

Also make sure the savefiles are ingame saves (.eep, .sra or .mpk extensions) and not savestates (.st#) those wouldn't work

How are the files called you are using (full name including extension)? where do you want to put them, which game are you trying?

The process isn't all that special

1. Copy over the save files from your phone to your PJ64 -> saves directory, overwrite the existing ones (rename the ones from your phone to whatever PJ64 calls them if necessary (excluding the extension which should already be correct, otherwise you probably have a different file)

2. Launch the game and see if the save loaded
