Default Super Smash Brothers 2D sprite rendering issue

I've been trying to fix a glitch in Smash Brothers for about 5 hours straight. it caused the 2D sprites in the game like items, Pokémon, fighter effects, and shields to not face the camera, the only things that it didn't effect were the dust sprites and stage hazards, excluding the Pokémon that come out of the elevator in Saffron City. The one fighters affected by it was Fox, his reflector would appear invisible in-game unless paused, same goes for shields. I made a collection of images to show you what I'm talking about. I really want to get this fixed, it would be appreciated if anyone would help me.
