Unhappy n-rage plugin not registering mouse movements

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to play The World is Not Enough.

I'm using n-rage plugin, and can happily change any of the keyboard controls by going Options --> Configure Controller Plugin

However, when I try to change the Analog Stick settings (e.g. "right") all i get is "...awaiting input..." and a countdown from 10. No matter how much I wiggle the mouse, nothing happens - not even the left/right click or mouse wheel are registered...

I've tried launching PJ64 as an administrator and have spent hours reading through this and other forums to no avail.

Hoping someone can shed some light on this!

Many thanks!

Can you configure the mouse as other buttons? I assume you are able to configure the keyboard as the analog stick?

Any mouse button or movement is completely unrecognised for any input - so i can't for instance make left click the 'A' button or a 'C' button - it's like the mouse doesn't exist...

Yes - I can make the keyboard the analogue stick, so for instance i can set the arrow keys to turn left/right and look up/down which is what i'd want the mouse to do.

Thanks for the reply.

Razer Mamba Elite: if you search amazon (co.uk) for B07F816PH9 you'll find it

I have an N64 USB controller i'm using in the meantime, but would love to be able to use my mouse.

OMG - Figured this out and posting here so hopefully someone in the future can benefit:

1. With NO GAME LOADED Click options --> Configure Controller Plugin
2. un-check the "plugged" checkbox
3. Now you can assign the mouse movement to the analogue (analog) stick
4. Save as a profile if you want, and/or just click 'save' at the bottom
5. Re open the settings same as step 1: Click options --> Configure Controller Plugin
6. RE-CHECK the "plugged" checkbox: you only turn it off to register the mouse movement, otherwise the game will give you a nag screen saying there's no controller plugged in
7. Launch the game

Hopefully this helps some other weary traveller in the future. You might be able to re-check the plugged in checkbox before clicking save (step 4) and skip step 5&6, I haven't tried.

Picture of the settings is attached
