Controller issues with 2 player games

Hi all,

I have been using the Project64 emulator perfectly fine using a usb controller. I plugged in and set up a second controller using the controller plugin menu like I did with the first one. The buttons are recognised and assigned, but when I try and use the second controller in a 2 player game mode (I'm trying MarioKart) the controller doesn't do anything.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have the "Plugged" box checked as with the first controller. Thanks!
