Default no support for VRU for Hey You Pikachu?
i actually Have a VRU plugged in via an adapter, the emulator doesnt recognise it as anything at all.

is this going to change or is there really no point to work on this game?

Not really a point to work on it, but I'm sure if you sent a few ads about it to Mdkcheatz he'd be happy to chitter-chatter about reverse-engineering the thing in the form of pasting large amounts of irrelevant documentation.
