Default Need help importing a native save

I've been scouring the Internet for three days now so I finally decided to take it to the experts here.

I downloaded the save file for Banjo-Kazooie from the downloads section on this site and placed it in the /Saves Folder.

It is a .zip file and I am not able to unzip it (unsure if I need to or not).

When I open the Banjo-Kazooie ROM there all the files in File Select are empty as they should be. When I open the ROM then go to Load and point it towards the .zip in my Saves folder the files are still all empty. What am I missing here?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

I have no idea why it came in a .zip. I redownloaded the file and it was a .eep and works perfectly. Thanks!
