That's the latest beta, but Rice broke a few things while he was discontinuing the plugin.

The last stable release by Rice was 6.1.0c.

Rice's texture plugin or entire Rice's?

Glide64 has Rice's texture plugin and last update is May 2012. I'd suggest you get Glide64 than obsolete Rice's plugin if you're looking for latest and most compatible plugin that can load custom textures. You can download from there http://code.google.com/p/glidehqplus...downloads/list

The plugins are not separate (and Glide64 does not infringe...); Rice just eventually decided to add hi-res support in 6.0.0.

It's the traditional, standard CRC32 method for identifying textures which Glide implemented.
