Any plans to have p64 work with the Wii U gamepad?

There have been recent development in the hacking of the Wii U gamepad which will eventually allow PC based applications to use the controller in the way the console itself does.

This doesn't look like it's close to ready, but are there any plans to include stuff like this in the future?
