Exclamation HELP NEEDED - USB Converter For Psx/N64

Hey all!

I imagine that you get alot of these type of forum posts, but seriously, i've looked everywhere for the past few days and can't find a solution ANYWHERE

Right, i bought this from eBay; http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA280_.jpg
And basically bought it second hand, only came stand alone, no instructions or CD. But i was told that it was 'plug and play' for XP and Vista's.

But when i connect it to my xp computer, the bubble pops up 'Found New Hardware' and followed by 'Your device is installed and ready to go' and then after that goes, another pops up saying 'USB Device not recognised'

And basically, the computer hasn't installed a driver and doesn't know that its a game controller!

Ive downloaded a rar file from some websites which include the Monster.inf, but when i right click and install, an alert pops up 'Failed to install' or when i try to update driver under the 'USB Device not recognised' bar, it says Monster.inf has no information about the device!

Anyone got any solutions/help?

Much appreciated!

Thanks, Toby

Specs of computer (If needed)
Windows XP Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
Intel Pentium 4
3.06GHz
960MB of RAM

Then I say your device is faulty, because I have the same device and have no issues.

From Options/Configure Controller Plugin... settings like "Deadzone" control device sensitivity.
For advanced changes to sensitivity though if this isn't enough you might want a new plug-in for controller.

You can also change controller ones through Options/Settings... if they are already installed.
Look for N-Rage's.
