New Edit: TLB is safe to disable,the issue is actually an incompatibility with save files from other emulators/PJ64 versions which is an odd issue in itself. I have linked a savestate that can give you my save file and have it persist!

Edit2: Note; You can use the Gold Feather Mod just fine without disabling TLB so that code can be used without issues.
Only tested on Mupen64Plus FZ Edition which has TLB internally on for Tooie.

Don't mix other mods together in most cases because of the addresses matching plus they would be really unstable anyway if all were enabled with proper memory placements.
Use a baddy for a potential spawn loop on every hit,non-fought bosses can have their fights start in some areas but they mostly freeze after a bit.
Edit: Change the 0229 to 0215 to mod player shadows with the ability to change on recompiler!
Old PJ64 1.7 with TLB disabled is recommended so you can change areas and switch out the objects used without the frustration of the game freezing due to accuracy.

Workaround has been found!

First of all,TLB is not the problem,so disabling it won't hurt the save files.

If you want the save file on later PJ64 versions,load this savestate then hit save and quit to obtain it in newer PJ64 versions and have the save file persist.

4MB memory is used

This can be an excellent example of what to do if PJ64 rejects your native save files from older PJ builds until the problem gets fixed,provided it happens with other games too.
Simply run the version of PJ64 that has your save file,create a named savestate,then load that savestate after copying it into the new PJ's "Save" folder directory and use the game's native saving method to write the save file so that it persists.
You may experience negative results if done on Majora's Mask so make sure to only rely on Song Of Time created save files by expiring the Owl Statue save first then creating the savestate to use with newer PJ64.
DK64 saves may also fail to work for some reason due to how that game's internal compatibility is in general so there isn't much that can be done about that game.

Banjo-Tooie doesn't use 8MB normally so you would expect its standard to be 4MB.
It doesn't need that to boot and run on an actual console and doesn't properly utilize the expansion memory either.
Using 8MB is always good for servicing leaks though with any game that emulates oddly besides DK64's native data leak from the actual game having issues on console.

Thanks for the heads up,should've thought about making another savestate for 8MB being enabled.
I will fix that lack of a savestate for 8MB the next chance I get.
