Two pieces, meh that's manageable. You do seem the type to pull yourself back together.

I forgot to ask, did you make it through via rolling in OOT or MQ version?

It was masterquest, I've only actually played through Oot once, and I did it the correct way that time I'm playing it a second time for this save thingy that we're doing. I tried several times to play it again, but since I've played it before.. not much incentive.

Anyway back on topic.

In MQ can't you just like, backflip into one of those DK barrels, switch to Diddy Kong, and do a tail flip over the rolling spike?

wait that's not on-topic

Okay well, I find it funny that I've only played OOT but never MQ, but you've only played OOT instead of MQ once.

wait that's not on-topic either

Well are there any other ways of getting past the spikes in that room on the MQ version that I should know about for when I play?

Oh hell even I knew about that. If I was that desperate I could just make a cheat code that when enabled, I can just let Link slide straight onto the damn spike, pierced and being rolled around and all, till he lands on the pillar again as it slides under it.

omg I can just see a YouTube video right now...

Link can probably go through anything either way with his gray slacks that he wears every day. EVERY DAY.

cargo pants, not slacks.

okay this is getting a bit off topic. However, there is a cheat code I found that lets you climb on anything, but only upwards.... so no help there Unless you jump onto the wall over the spikes.

You mean develop Spidey-senses and start crawling across the ceiling and stuff?

Yeah, I know what you mean about those tripads. err that is the on-topic ones that compete with Link on the ceiling if the cheat's turned on
