Question i am not a computer wizard...

okay so I am not sure if what I have is really an issue it is more like a question that would be awesome if It was answered in clear directions and easy for me to....

okay so I have p64 on my flash drive and I play games like Zelda... its my fav but my problem is that the little clips and the text boxes take forever to get through... when I was in high school a friend showed me how to fast forward like speed walking through fields and when someone talked to me or when I was battling on pokemon and I was hoping there was a button or something that I could do to do that on Zelda.. oh and I don't remember that button I hit to fast forward on pokemon anymore either..... tear

okay so that is it thanks very much for the help
sorry of someone already posted this on a forum and if I posted under the wrong link. I wasn't really sure what I needed to look for to find the answer I needed I tried increase FPS I don't know what that is but I checked the manual and it kinda sounded like what I wanted but when I googled forums it made it sound like tech error or somen and that isn't what I have.......

You can press F4 to disable the frame limiter and F4 to enable it again

Might or might not have to make sure "Hide Advanced Settings" is unchecked in main options. I think I remember F4/System->Limit FPS not being available in a default installation with advanced settings hidden.

Also, I'm probably not supposed to do this, but couldn't really resist anyway:
