Question Extracting 3D models from ROMs

Hi there. Im guessing there's already a thread about this somewhere, but I couldnt find one, so forgive me if this has already been discussed/answered.

Basically, Im trying to figure out how to extract the 3D models used in various games. I know there must BE a way to do it, but Ive been googling for 3 days and havent found anything.

So, what is the best way to extract models from a ROM? If it matters, Im specifically interested in OoT models and textures. Ideally, I would want the models to have all their animations and such. Im messing around with a little programming project and I wanted to use some of the OoT models. What makes it more difficult is the fact that the language Im using only accepts models in the .X, .DBO, .3DS, .MDL, .MD2 or .MD3 format.

Thanks, but I found that a couple days ago. None of these models are animated or rigged; theyre just static 3D models. I need to find models with all the animation data still intact, so that when I use them in the programming project Im doing, I can have them walk and run and Link swing his sword and so on. The animations being intact is the most important part.
