Can you explain? Does the RAM upgrade not do this for some titles? I really felt tat the resolution was no better with expansion pak on the real HW.

Several games do display hi-res graphics (640x480), but only on menus, title screens, cutscenes, and things like that.

During gameplay, however, only games that used the RAM expansion for resolution had a near hi-res display (such as Turok 2), but I don't think any of them actually reached true 640x480.

Perhaps because they don't exist on an N64?

I imagine the emulator on those discs is just set to run at 640x480p/60...I dunno if the ROMs themselves are changed in any way regarding that. Would be testable if someone was able to run the ROMs on an N64, which I'm sure some people have tried.

The ROMs themselves are largely unchanged, with the exception of a few icon and text changes regarding the GameCube controller and things like lack of Rumble Pack.

The emulators themselves are largely HLE and run very similarly to PC N64 emulators and plugins. They run at an internal resolution of 640x480, either interlaced or progressive depending on if you're using component cables on an HDTV.

Default RDP issue

HatCat,

I found a GFX issue in your RDP. (Shun's 1.5 version on right)
