Everyone who knows what's been going down has been using Azimer's or Jabo's audio plugins.
The remaining people sticking to your plugin are just part of your fantasy world, or simply needed any XAudio implementation at all, even if you were the only one to do it. ![]()

Is this guy really bragging about his closed source plugin that he didn't even write from scratch?

You don't say?
I actually use it for Paper Mario's crackling sound. Don't know if it's possible to play Paper Mario crackling-free with Azimer's or Jabo's . Last edited by Lolwutman; 14th May 2014 at 03:37 AM. |

People do it all the time, but use whatever floats your boat good sir.
It also depends what version of the azimer dll you used with Paper Mario. If it's 0.56 try disabling "Emulate/Simulate AI".

Wow, Azimer's 0.56 is actually better (or/and simpler) at removing crackling sound than Shunyuan's.

Naturally.
Also, LaC's audio for Nemu64 should have less crackling than Shunyuan's dlls. ![]() Not sure but I think the only real issue with Jabo's DirectSound is just limitations with the AI stuff in the core or the plugin spec. I don't usually get crackling with Jabo's plugin when I keep "Sync Game to Audio" checked though.

Ya, I really did like Nemu's sound plugin. It's amazing how some of the great emulators / plugins are very old.
And here we have some noob thinking that his own audio plugin is the best LOL. What plugin did he base his work off of? One thing about azimer's 0.56 is that when I was watching the ssb64 intro, the sound wasn't in sync during part of it. I had Dynamic Audio Sync and Emulate/Simulate Al both on. |

![]() Some games, like Clay Fighter 63 1/3, Ridge Racer 64, etc go to hell when sync game to audio is enabled, and go from 60 VI/s to 45 VI/s but have normal sound, why the framerate goes apeshit, I don't know. I've yet to find a plugin for audio that has good sync and doesn't kill the VI/s.
