Hello there! I just wanted to say two things and that's 1.)Thank you for making this emulator, it's allowed me to replay a lot of games that I loved in my childhood and a tiny suggestion. Maybe make a version of this emulator for Linux? Cause I know a lot of people would find it useful especially for their raspberry pis and other devices!

I would like to have a Linux version of PJ64 also. MupenPlus is not as good as Project64. Please make a Linux version since other emulators such as ePSXe, PCSX2, DeSmuMe, and Dolphin are available on Linux.
With Windows over the years making unpopular decisions and collecting more data on its users, more are switching for Linux even for Gaming. If PJ64 was available for Linux well I couldn't really ask for more besides increasing supported games. I don't know if this will help but if you made PJ64 on the QT framework it will be easy to make PJ64 work on multiple platforms. Last edited by LegoManIAm94; 16th February 2020 at 01:19 AM. |

PJ64 is now open source as of quite a while back,so nothing is stopping you or any other person from making a Linux port and maybe even a MacOS port for anyone who tries to stay on an older OS version that still has OpenGL access.
For newer MacOS versions, you will otherwise need someone to also make backend ports of gfx plugins including GLide64 and GLideN64 (may need regular Glide64 for SM64 hacks but to my knowledge only rice works for avoiding invisible custom object issues) to the sub-type of Vulkan known as Metal API. This all said,I wouldn't mind seeing a Vulkan port of GLideN64 (Windows/Android) that attempts to improve performance to make it easier to use accurate settings and higher resolutions with less of an impact on performance and generally reduced CPU usage overhead. |

That would be extremely nice, Mupen is not as good and Wine is very buggy and crashes a lot, i don't know why its taking so much time as the source code is available for everyone.

I understand you annoyance but it also depends of people interests in porting to linux and those people having the ability to do so.
