It's most likely because you're using that cheat. Does it show that you have it?

In order to deactivate it all the way you'll need to make a native save through the game after disabling the cheat and load said save.

Wait, two? Screenshot please. I have to see this :/

Playin' on 2.32.202. I have tried doing this and have had no luck with fixing this problem. I have also tried going into the Cheat menu and gone to equipment modifier.
Double clicked it and selected silver scale..
activated cheat, and cannot dive for more than 1 second. File info is as follows: Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time (U) (V1.2) [!].z64

What am I doing wrong?

Steve

Thumbs up

Sorry for being a whole year late. I googled this problem because it happened to me, but I found out how to make it work.

Open the cheat menu on the emulator and go to equipment manager.
Double click it and select silver scale..
activate cheat, and the scale should be working.
It worked for me, hope it works for you...
