Can't Enter Cheat Codes

Project 64 won't let enter the Gameshark Codes which I got from this link:

The cheats I am trying to enter are in the notepad file so if someone could tell me how to make them work that would be great thanks.

Some sites that offer GameShark codes often use this deceiving format:

1234567890XX
 
or
 
1234567890xx

Just make sure its in this format instead:

12345678 90XX

Make sure you include a space after the 8th character.

can't pj64 be made to parse these? sounds trivial to add the spaces and might save a lot of hassle for people..

Changes these examples:

or

to

Well I see the issue and perhaps I can get Gent to work on that, possible not likely, but That's why I'm doing what I'm doing and adding as many codes as possible to the database including self made codes so that people do not have to go thru such efforts for format the codes to eliminate error....
