Of course, zilmar and Jabo deserve the support, as well as others.
But its a fact of life that people always want everything for nothing..... |

It's just another Lerroy Jenkins crack of 1.7.0.45; I didn't even need to check to see it was going to be another one of those outhouse-cracked copies. This time the RAM usage is flying heh...but there is one crack I found by digitalspider that seems to have been done accurately according to mudlord. It even fixed the settings dialoge loading times. :P

DS? I know that person. That person made No$PMP or No$WTT so, they might have some skill after all....
![]() Still, I haven't found a issue with loading times. Or maybe I am used to it. ![]() |

"Still, tagging old rlses as new ones is super lame :P"
Um yes that is, and that would explain why the settings dialoge loading times are like instant compared to the latest betas.

There are cracked 1.7 betas all over the internet, mostly on torrent sites. the problem is that even if all of these are removed someone who downloaded a cracked version will probably just upload it somewhere again.

Aye like mudlord said it's unpreventable; there are organizations that crack software all over the web. It can be hard to make a list of shareware that wasn't cracked, but Project64 was actually very clean until 2007. Loads of people wanted the beta, but I guess part of the reason it didn't get cracked immediately is because it wasn't copyrighted official or something (bigger fish to fry probably hate for copyrights). Also worth noting why Lerroy Jenkins--first guy to leak it--was deleted for a fail. Eventually various people started cracking it, and they sorta failed as well.

That only occurs the first time for i open the settings dialogue on each start of pj64, and i put it down to scanning the hi-res pack folder.
