Default No sound in all games

Hello everybody. For some reason all games I play have no sound. I tried everything I found on the Internet but nothing worked, and today I noticed that in the Logs folder there is a file called DirectSound Error.log, and when I open it I see stuff like
[1:27:24 PM 6/3/2015] Error 0x80070005 - Buffer playback failed
Is this related to my problem? How can I solve it? Thank you very much in advance; it's so sad to play games like Ocarina of Time without their beautiful soundtrack!

Sounds like a problem with your pc settings or directx.

On your PC goto Control Panel, and open up Sounds and Audio Devices. Goto the Audio tab and make sure you have a Default device for Sound playback.

Or you may need to install the directx 9 runtime from microsoft.

Another reason is your using HLE audio option with an LLE audio plugin.

Or maybe it's just a human spammer trying to get 5 posts.

Thank you for your answers. I tried out a HLE audio plugin and nothing changed and my DirectX is up to date, so I guess the problem is something else.
