The New Tetris N64 Graphical Bugs

Whenever I run Tetris, I get black lines in groups of 5 running horizontally across the screen. This doesn't happen on the N64 Logo, but every other screen after has the same problem. Increasing Anti-aliasing seems to thin the lines, but creates more of them. There are also other problems with the textures, such as the pieces looking glossy, and there are stuttering problems as well. Is there a settings option that I am not noticing that would improve these problems?
