i just purchased the sumoto n64 converter to pc. i cant seem to get it to work at all. im using the nrage plugin for project 64 but in the controller configuration my controller doesnt appear. can someone give me instructions on how to make this work from scratch? please

I don't know if you'd be willing to buy something else but if you have either a Game Cube, Xbox or PS/PS2 controller, look into getting the 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box. it was like $12 on ebay. it's totally compatable with PJ64, I use it and I love it! Sorry, that's totally not what your post was about but

Does your computer recognize that the thing's plugged into it to begin with?

If so,

It basically just reads the inputs from the joystick as keystrokes, so you just punch in the keystrokes in the xpadder wizard, then set the controls on the controller inputs and it should pick it up fine. Also nice for various other things on computers too, such as presentations...etc. Get it if you're interested, it's really light, no install required. |

no, see when i plug it in the computer wont even recognize that its plugged in. it makes this weird sound. how can i get my computer to recognize it?
