Question about key/mouse bindings for controls!

Hi, I've kinda been silently using p64 for awhile now to play old games in between college classes and whatnot, and originally had my [A Button] in game binded to my left mouse click, and [B Button] binded to right click, as I like to move with my left hand and use commands and such with my mouse. I updated my p64 to 2.3.2 and whenever I try and rebind my A and B buttons in controller config, it just says awaiting input and doesn't register my left or right clicks, not allowing me to bind my mouse to anything. Note, this isnt me trying to bind my mouse to movements in game, simply binding keys to a mouse click. Any help with this? It's uncomfortable for my right hand to have my hands on keys as well, so being able to use my left and right mouse clicks would help a lot, since I was previously able to do so. Thanks!
