Does Project64 1.6 Work On Windows 7?

I'm using Windows Vista at the moment and this emulator works just fine but I'm thinking about upgrading to Windows 7 and I just want to know if Project64 1.6 will still work? Do I need to run this emulator in compatibility mode if I have any issues?
