Unable to load Save State from GameFaqs for Ocarina of Time

For some reason I am just unable to load into Ganons castle through a save file that I got from game faqs. Coincidentally, I am unable to do the same thing in WindWaker through the Dolphin app. Any tips on these 2 problems?

Unfortunately, i don't think the save format is compatible.

What do you mean by that exactly? I know I have the right save formats for Project64 but they aren't working like they need to. I am trying to figure out if it is something within my actual computer that won't let me do this because of special permissions but i have no idea to find out, and I dont know if i am doing it right in general.

I tried downloading a save from gamefaqs and the data looked significantly different. I couldn't get it to work either.

Why does Gamefaqs have broken files? What are they trying to pull here exactly?
