gliden64 plugin error

everytime i try to launch the gliden64 options. it simply crashes. It doesen't matter if i am using 1.0, 2.0 3.0 or even the W.I.P. versions. It just wont work.
Also it crashes when i try to load a rom into it so rip hi res textures.
I tried re installing and don't use the 4gb patch i use. It was just a normal day and this #%@# crashed.

i discovered that this crashes even when i try to click the about button of the gliden64 lol
also i just put the gliden64.dll
and the gliden64.custom
nothing more than that.
It simply just crashes.
I know this isn't kinda project64's fault but i think it is because i was just booted up this and it started with this crashing thing

EDIT: I just tried uninstalling the pj64. and i tried downloading again the pj642.3 version installer. i put the gliden64 file there and it worked lol
it wont keep my settings. (example. i choose 16:9 aspect ratio. i hit ok i load the game and no 16:9 aspect ratio. it was the wip builds. ill just stick to the stable 3.0 release instead. it worked but it didint had the "profile" thingy. but atleast it "saves" my settings. thanks... because why not. i really need to know what the problem is and write it down on a txt file before it comes again. im pretty sure the installer had some problem or something. but i used it and it worked before. maybe is because of the random crash i had when i loaded the gliden64 settings now? does it cause the crashing problem? i dunno)

yes. the other ones that you get when you install the emulator. they do.

but gliden64 is the only one that allow for hi res textures so rip

also oddly enough i had a dream where ben drowned chased me and "cursed" me and i realised it was a hacked rom that some idiot made me install it because almost all download links to the "cursed" rom this guy created.
it was from majora mask obviously.
and when i woke up gliden64 plugin just stopped working wtf lmao
